really nice food, the tempura is really good. boba tea wasn't amazing, but isn't really their specialty. would also recomend the udon. seating area is a little bit cramped, isn't really easy to manouvre around, even without anything like a wheelchair.
Very good plant based selection. Seaweed onigiri was delicious.
So happy this place exists
Every now and then, while walking by Kineya, I ask myself "wow, this smells great, why do I never have lunch here?" Two main reason: 1) a short stay is enough to make you stinking of fried until you scrub with hot water and soap every inch of your body and clothes 2) the food is not so great, and especially anything with rice is really bad. The rice is always cold, dry, flavourless. Even if you put sauce on it is bad as it doesn't soak it, is completely hydrorepellent. It's a shame, as when It opened I loved it. Now is to avoid at any cost.
Was alright. Quite a long wait. I got confused as to whether I was meant to collect my fried meat as I walked along the counter, but I didn't need to. There was a separate counter with soy sauce, ginger and batter bits. My fried chicken was very dry. The curry udon was pure curry, which was good at first but then a bit too much. Curry udon is normally a watered down curry soup. I used their self service screen, which is a bonus if you need some time to decide.
