Located in West Hollywood, KINARI is a purveyor of traditional Japanese cuisine from the esteemed Chef Yukinari Yamamoto. Our specialty is Aburi ( flame-seared ) sushi and homemade plant based ramen . What is aburi-style sushi? For those who don't know, Aburi is a type of sushi that originates from Osaka, Japan, meaning “torched sushi”. The flame takes the sushi’s texture and flavor to the next level. It will partially cook the fish and leaves no ‘fishy’ taste. This is more receptive to children and newcomers but also gives veteran sushi lovers a new and exciting way to enjoy sushi.
