Killeavy Castle Estate

We saw this castle from the motorway and decided to go have a look for it. The castle has been totally renovated and can be rented for private events. The new building has a fantastic restaurant. We had lunch there. It was a delicious chunk of ham sambo. There are beautiful walks around the castle. Well worth a visit

Noteworthy details: Very expensive for wine and alcohol. Average quality wine is £11 per glass. Overpriced.

We have eaten there a few times. Lovely food, a great point of Guinness and great service. Beautiful location and building. Peacocks and longhorn cattle in the grounds. Bring your camera and a sketch pad.

Beautiful hotel. Great staff. Comfortable rooms. Awesome food. Great views. Highly recommend.

We went for a afternoon high tea. Wow, what a selection, and they were all tasty. Service was great, presentation excellent.
