Kibo Sushi - Spring Garden

The quality is getting worse and worse everytime I visit. There used to be so much variety and everything was beautifully garnished…now it’s always the same basic sushi :(

The sushi, aburi, and sashimi here are amazing. I’ve been looking for good aburi in Halifax since moving here from Vancouver and this did not disappoint. No contest, this will be our go-to sushi place from now on. This is mainly a take out place but we were able to eat at a small counter (2 people) since it was a rainy night. There’s also a small market and ready-made food and drinks. The gentleman taking our order was also super nice and helpful :) Please open a Kibo restaurant in Bedford!!

Kibo Sushi is absolutely delicious and fresh. There are plenty of options. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Kibo sushi is located on South Street close to Spring Garden Rd. It's a takeaway shop, not really a dine in restaurant. The service was steady. As for the sushi, it was outstanding. It definitely had gourmet vibes. Loaded with flavours and fillings. The pieces have a generous amount of fresh fish and are big bites. I would go back definitely on my next visit downtown. Really worth a visit.

Ordered takeout from kibo and arrived at the store for pickup a couple minutes late from the pickup time. The girl at the front counter said they are working on the order and will be ready soon. We had to wait a whole extra 20min for someone to get the food at the front counter after which the girl at the front counter took another 10ish minutes to just put the order in the bag and hand it over. Great food, but service could definitely be improved.

Heard great things about this place. I think it’s fairly new to Halifax they just do takeout and delivery. I had the spicy tuna dragon rolls. The North Mackie and the spicy chicken Karasge. My wife & daughter had Croquettes, veggie green Maki, sunny dragon, lobster roll, vegetable Tempura. They have a huge menu really. Everything was fantastic. I will certainly be going back. Feel like sushi. This is definitely place you should check out.

AMAZING sushi! This was the best sushi I've had in Halifax! I can never decide between yam, cucumber, avocado or asparagus rolls so having a a maki with all of them was delicious. I'm so excited I don't live to far because this will definitely be my new go-to sushi spot.

Проезжая мимо , увидел новый суши бар,открыл отзывы и был поражен оценкой близко к 5,ок остановился и сделал заказ. Атмосфера внутри приятная,как и обслуживание , частично за стеллажами видно,как готовиться твой заказ,есть выбор напитков и уже приготовленных блюд,мой заказ пообещали приготовить за 15-20 мин ,что несколько удивляет,заказ был большой ну ок, отдача заказа была с правильным вопросом, сколько человек и смогли добавить позиции,как соевый соус,имбирь и васаби за это отдельное спасибо.Приехали домой открыли красивую фирменную коробку,это тоже было приятно,дальше начнем из минусов Размер роллов большой и они порезанные неровно, то же самое с количеством рыбы и других составляющих в роллов,да рыба и ингредиенты свежие однако,как это все приготовлено и сделано оставляет желать лучшего+ все сложенно в коробку слишком близко и роллы, когда ты их пытаешься достать,просто распадаются,я не понимаю как люди пишут это самое лучшее, что может быть,может они не видели лучше? Итог, ю да это не плохо,однако назвать эти роллы чем то выдающемся не смогу !
