This is our regular groceries stores. It's a bit small but we get almost everything we need for our daily needs. Nothing has changed since I wrote my previous review....everthing is pretty much same I noticed in refrigerator section some Indian desserts are no more available. I feel produce section could improve a bit All staff members working in the store or at cash machines are great. No, nothing new.
still some deals when items go on sale
Staff are friendly and very helpful. I really appreciate the help I get when I have a heavy load to bring to the car. Thank you.
Something really needs to be done about the fact that you need a loonie to access shopping carts at this grocery store. There are no other grocery store chains that require you to pay a dollar to get a cart. In today's increasingly cashless society it is not common that someone carries change on them in this format. And when you ask staff, if there's anything they can do to help you get a cart so that you can buy your groceries, you are looked at and treated like a criminal. The lady who works at the front cash with the short gray/white hair, really needs a lesson in customer service skills, she is incredibly rude, and therefore I was rude back. There's another younger girl who seems to take pleasure in letting everybody know what the rules are. There seems to be no grace! I won't be returning to this store.
No-frills is pretty good when it comes to getting some deals. However, today they were not too many sales/deals. I love the fact that they have the point program partner with president’s choice, PC. Even if there is not too many sales going on, I still buy my groceries there because of the point system. The store seem well stocked. They had a variety of items to choose from, and the lineups were not too bad as all the cashiers were open, the self checkouts. Fresh flowers were available. Need some plants as well. The only downside I would say, is, remember to take a loonie with you. The shopping carts used to be 25 cents a while back now they are a loony. Some supermarkets The carts free of use. I do love this feature at other supermarkets sometimes I choose those markets over the point system when I don’t have cash.
