A great hands on museum with very good exhibits.
Very interesting and educational
Very interesting. So much to see.
It's a big museum mostly about steel works. I the back, there is a small 1910s house, you don't get to see much there, but still worth seeing. Upstairs you can find vintage cars. I think it's mostly about what interests you. They have few cutlery to show and a lot of files.
I love this place, it's so interesting! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The range of topics and dates covered is much broader than you might expect. Also good cafe!
Great free museum depicting Sheffield's historic industrial past. Don't know if we are just unlucky but the steam powered engine has not been working on the 2 visits we have made to this museum. Well worth checking out if visiting Sheffield.
Wonderful place to visit no matter what is the weather. Lots of interesting traditional public houses nearby. Museum staff very informative. Wheelchair friendly, seeing little craftsmen at work via the videos excellent very good.
Loved it, so much to see of an industry that has all but disappeared. Can't believe it was free to get in. We left a donation so they can keep up the good work. It brought back many memories.
