My wife really loves this place. The teriyaki Chicken bowl is her always go to meal here. However, this is only concerning my meal. We have eaten here a lot, many door dash orders :) My wife orders her teriyaki chicken and I order the healthy bowl with Tofu being a vegetarian. It was a good meal, no doubt. The Tofu is always nicely toasted. However, yesterday we decided to dine in, and of course we ordered the same. The meal tastes the same, however, the Tofu appeared to be fried this time...why? That would definitely be contrary to a heathy meal. Imagine my surprise when I asked the cook and register person, how they cook the tofu, to be told "deep fried" in "vegetable oil" Wow - Not only was being fried not healthy, but it also wasn't fried in healthy oil. People, you realize that vegetable oil contents have nothing to do with vegetables, right? Look it up. Why not Olive oil - Well I suspected because it's much more expensive. Deeply disappointed, this was my go-to Friday meals. Sorry to announce, customers, be aware, their healthy bowl is indeed "NOT" healthy. Throwing in vegetables doesn't make a meal healthy. If you are someone with heart disease, high cholesterol, I would avoid this place as other food may possible be deep fried in vegetable oil as well. Very disappointed, there's not many places a vegetarian and non-vegetarian can sit down and eat a meal at the same restaurant; I thought this place was special. Disclaimer: This is only about my meal and their so-called Healthy bowl with Tofu or anything Tofu for that matter. If you are not watching your health closely and/or not a vegetarian the food would be great for you, my wife loves it, she will continue to eat here, however, I definitely will not.
