KAYA’S GRILL:TURKISH RESTAURANT

First time trying here this evening. Service was lovely and the food was excellent. Well cooked,hot, nicely presented and very tasty. Nice little extras such as bread and olives on arrival and some turkish delight when leaving. Would highly recommend. Dont be put off by the parking as you can park on the road after 7pm in the evening and there are some side roads around (check for permit holders though). Love supporting local businesses and this place is well worth trying. Seems popular for take out too.

We had a fantastic meal here on Saturday evening. The food was delicious and good portion sizes. Complimentary bread, olives and pickles were a lovely gesture. The atmosphere was really nice with traditional music playing. The waitress was very pleasant, although could have been a little more attentive to empty glasses etc. The prices were very reasonable and definitely worth the money. It was such a shame there wasnt more people there. I really hope this place doesnt close due to low attendance. We will be back again in the near future 100% with friends.

By far, the best turkish food in halifax. All this good healthy food with hardly any customers in each time we have been but drive past burger king and kfc on the way home and they are packed with customers,

Ive come here twice with my family and we really like the food here. The lahmacun to the mixed grills I enjoyed it.

Good restaurant with a nice ambience, good seating. Has a few options for vegetarians, and the food tastes goodish. I wish we were served bread with food though (you can order for extra charge). They don’t have desserts but do have an alcohol selection. Also parking needs to be on the street behind so do check timing. Good one time experience, did enjoy the paintings.
