Kansai Hayward

We have ordered "to go" in the past and decided to check the restaurant. It was cozy and clean. We ordered Bentos and a couple of rolls (Rainbow, Blossom) The food was delicious! Currently our top Sushi spot in Hayward Parking: There are multiple free parking garages that make it easy to walk to the restaurant.

Went for the bento box lunch special. Some of the best Japanese food I've had in a while at a very reasonable price.

2.5 stars. $55+ worth of food and nothing was great. Tempura's exterior is way too thick. Chicken Katsu was not tasty and was too hard.

Food is good! Front of house staff is pretty rude, heard the way they speak on the phone, as well as the way they interacted with customers in the store. Other than that experience was okay.

They gave me the wrong food.. The chicken they gave me was not cooked all the way still raw in middle when they switched it they made me bring the food back which they didn't have my food ready waited an hour to have them put soggy gyoza back on plate.. just make sure if you get chicken here it's cooked ..
