The food flavor was not bad, the deep fried calamari was pretty good, sake don with uni was pretty decent, the skewers was just so so, tsukune was too thick and the flavor was too peppery and under seasoned. Probably will try other sushi or deep fried items next time.
This place is a hidden gem, service is great. One server, Belinda is always such a sweet and helpful person. The sashimi is such good quality, we always love the ramen, the karaage is some of the best we have had in the Bay Area. We’ve been here several times now and I highly recommend everyone to try it.
Everything was delicious, chefs were true professionals. We just came back from our Japan trip and this place brought us back truly! It’s so nice to be in a izakaya again hearing all the cheers of beer glasses and the staff greetings as we entered. Definitely a gem because the prices were more on the cheaper side in comparison to the rest of the Bay Area What We Ordered: ramen, mango roll, squid (ika) nigiri, octopus wasabi, chicken karaage, miso soup
I like how the rolls are delicately and deliciously made!
A family favorite! Hole in the wall, unassuming yet well-decorated and spacious restaurant. We always get the sashimi combos and katsu don! Love the vibe and food here.
Atienden de una forma muy afanada, un poco desatenta una persona que trabaja en ese lugar, también no dan respuesta de cuánto tiempo se demora el pedido y para finalizar, se les pregunta algo y no responden.
Got my favorite J-pop Anime bands in the background music. The food is also good!
