Jose's Authentic Mexican Restaurant

Great place, good people, I recommend the food truck also!

Love Jose's. I live over an hour away but come through town for work a few times a year and have not once missed a meal from Jose's. One of my favorite Mexican restaurants, and I've been to many.

I have gone to Joses on and off for years. The Baraboo location has steadily gone down in my opinion. The Dells location is really good. So maybe to many locations to focus on. I have never eaten at the sauk location but people seem to like it. I love the buffet at the casino! At the Baraboo location, The salsa tasted not great. Chips came out cold and stale and my chicken wasn't cooked all the way through so when I took a bite, I had to run to the restroom and throw up. The food was mediocre. No flavor really. The margaritas were strong and tasty. The waitress was super lovely.

Had to wait a few minutes extra while the other 9 people were eating because our food was accidently given to another table and my husband's food had to be reheated but my did was very good!

My kids and I often go to this restaurant. Atmosphere, food, and service are much better than the Jose's in the Dells. I would recommend this restaurant over many Mexican restaurants in the surrounding areas.
