Excellent place for a date or family dinner. Food is outstanding, service is impeccable and the atmosphere is perfect. They go above and beyond to maoe their guests comfortable and accommodated. Update, still a great place. We've been here a few times now and the service is always top notch.
Excellent service and delicious food. Every bite was absolute heaven! Very expensive, but u r paying to get spoilt. Come here for a very romantic lovely night out. Got much louder as the place got full. Parking: John Howie will validate your parking!
One of the best restaurants we’ve ever been too! The service is so amazing! You literally feel like you’re in a place of royalty! They take ladies orders first, serve first as well! Wall by with a special tool and scrape the crumbs off your table! Unfold and place your napkins for you! The food was phenomenal! On the higher $ side but worth it! Ruben was our waiter and will be requesting him again! I could go on and on! ❤️ Dietary restrictions: Gf
Update: Feb 2024 I visited JHS for my wedding anniversary with my entire family. I'm so glad that the food was quite phenomenal. It was my son's first A5 wagyu experience and it didn't disappoint. The deviled eggs were also phenomenal - perhaps the best I've ever tasted. The hamachi carpaccio was also sublime. As usual, the bread basket was great, especially the pretzels, and once again, my favorite banana fosters made me smile. It was really a near-perfect magical experience except I believe my server severely misunderstood what I was trying to convey to her. I precisely asked her to serve my wife her onion soup with the other starters but what ended up happening was the 4 of us just staring at each other for a good 25 mins while my wife had her soup and they waited until she was done to start the main course. I understand it was a busy night. But at this price point, you would expect the serving staff to work in conjunction with you to perfect your dining experience. I still love JHS. It was my very first "high end" dining experience and every time I visit Seattle, I shall stop by. ***** This used to be one of my favorite restaurants 7 years ago. Since then, it has deteriorated quite a bit. The steak was dry, and so was practically any other dish. Not saying it wasn't tasty. Just saying for the price point, it was disappointing. Service was great, and the banana fosters cooked in front of you. But no longer was it a special experience. Parking: Park underground at the Bravern and the restaurant will validate your parking pass.
Steak is good. Service is excellent. I do wish the room light is little brighter to read the menu.
