Friendly place, good food, lots of beer choices, good service. Not busy on Monday, Tuesday afternoons
I am a military veteran with ptsd and have a registered service dog . My service dog goes every where with me. Last weeknds game we met up with a group to watch the Lions game at McVees Pub. I couldnt say enough good things about their staff and serivce. Today I am meeting the same group up at Joe Kools in Troy. The male managerr denied me entry saying they dont allow dogs! I said he is wearing his vest, has his identification card and this is a public not private establishment and are required to allow entrance to registered service dogs. Well the Troy police (God bless those men and women in blue) were called and informed this place the federal laws and service dogs. If i wasnt meeting a group of people I would have turned around and never came back! I have been coming to this place since 2019. Today just may be the last time they ever get my business. There management needs to go back to school (obviously has not had college education) and he needs training on laws!! I am completely and utterly disgusted
Had a great time watching pro football !!!!
Great experience, food was great, and the spinach drip was my favorite.
I was there during the lions game The service and the food were excellent. The manger gave us a round of drinks at no charge . I would recommend this place all day . Thank you Joe kools of Troy.
I have enjoyed all the food I have tried here yet. My nephew and I will go here and enjoy a couple different dishes each visit to see what we like. Prices are ok and staff is generally nice and fast enough. Vegetarian options: Yes options Kid-friendliness: Yes Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
