JJ’S Poke

Tried this place for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Really like their marinated shrimp

Good food, quick service, decent pricing for the portions. Good value for a quick bite to take home.

Portion size is small for the price. Taste is ok.

Updated: The first time I went here, I left a 5/5 review. The poke was great, service was great, and the restaurant was too. The second time, 11/2/23, my salmon poke bowl was inedible. I don’t know if the day of the week matters, but the salmon was stringy with a grainy texture and sour taste. I sadly ended up throwing the whole thing away. I gave it a 2/5 star rating rather than a 1 because the first time was great, but due to food quality and consistency I can’t highly recommend this restaurant anymore.

We tried to use our own container for sustainability but their staff was very confused by our ask. I was supervised too, because they use their spoon/scope to measure everything and it shouldn’t be that difficult. Anyway, the food itself is not impressive tho, they added too much sauce and made the whole poke too creamy and lost the poke freshness. The ingredients, especially the sashimi, was very little, and make the whole poke price not practical. Not recommend to visit.

This place was very good. It was good for people that are bad at ordering food because you didn’t have to talk to anyone you just fill out a little sheet. I also really liked their take out bags. It tasted good.
