I order from Jimmy John's regularly, at least weekly or twice a week. One time, they called me to let me know they didn't have a driver for delivery, which was amazing! Today was the complete opposite. I ordered at 11:15 am, in the hopes to have it delivered for the lunch hour. At 12:30 pm, it still hadn't arrived, so I called and was told they were short drivers, but it was out for delivery. Then hung up on. I chalked it up to them being busy. We waited and waited, with no delivery. I tried to call back about 40 minutes later and was put on hold, with no one returning to the phone after waiting over 5 minutes. So, I hung up. A few minutes later, I called back. When they answered, I asked for a refund, and they put me on hold, with no one returning back to the call, again. I hung up, and a few minutes later I called back, and the same person answered (keep in mind, it's been over 2 hours now), and I asked for a refund. He was curt and short, and said it had been refunded. When I tried to share the previous experience with them (same store) calling to let me know they were short drivers, he cut me off and hung up on me. I was quite patient in waiting for the order, and after they said it was out for delivery. How they interacted on the phone was rude, and unacceptable to a customer. I hope whomever the manager and/or owner is can provide better training in challenging situations when they are short staff. I plan to take my business elsewhere for quite awhile.
Would rate the food but never got it.. Never heard from corporate, not sure what the problem is with this jimmy johns on avery square. Nov 15, 2023 put in an online order at 12:06 in the afternoon and still waiting for it lol Called the MGT team got a bunch of excuses.... Wrote to head quarters never heard from them,. Jersey Mikes and Potbelly's are the way to go, plus Moe's Moe's is freaky fast in this area.

Took 2 hrs to deliver. Thats just ridiculous.
Our food was thirty minutes late even though we ordered two hours in advance. This store has been getting slower and more error prone for months now. Half of our recent orders have been missing items. The employees seem to be working hard but operations are a nightmare. Some manager or owner really dropped the ball. The software is also getting worse so you really need to want Jimmy John’s to get a sandwich. Text alerts for orders sometimes come hours after you’ve picked up your food so are not reliable. We won’t be back to this location anytime soon.
Freaky slow, staff doesn’t care at all. I’ve given this location multiple chances and it just keeps getting worse. Ordering online ahead of time actually makes it slower than walk in. Sad.
I paid almost 20 dollars for my meal to be delivered at 12:19 it is now 1:49 and I still haven't got my food then I called the store and the guy on the other end just kept saying we know we know it's been almost 2 hours this is rediculous I will not be ordering from this location ever again don't recommend
We ordered multiple subs and have been waiting 65 minutes. Called to check on it's whereabouts and how much longer? We are only one mile away. So much for freaky fast. We got hung up on twice by a girl employee with an extreme attitude problem. Obviously she was having trouble doing her job and answering the phone. Multitasking is a problem these days. Update: finally, after an 1Hr and 25 minutes our food came with no napkins, No chips that we ordered and 3 of the 4 drinks were the wrong. Just lost a customer for life.
