Jim 'N Nick's Bar-B-Q

I was in Charlotte today for an appointment so I called in an order to jim and nicks at steele creek to be picked up on my way home. I walked in and paid for my dinner and asked the young man (his name may have been Shane???) had he checked my order to ensure my extra rolls and sauces were in the bag? He replied that he had bagged the food himself and that everything was correct. I took him at his word without checking myself since he was the young man who took my order over the phone and bagged it. The young man was super polite. But when I got home with my food (I live over an hour away) it was tasty as always. But of course, there was bbq instead of the honey mustard sauce that i ordered and of course the extras weren't in the bag either. Also they shorted me on the number of cheddar biscuits. I might be more understanding if they were swamped but it was 330ish and the place was practically empty. It's a small mistake...no biggie. I'm just a bit disappointed at the less than adequate service that was provided especially after I made it a point to ask and was assured the order was correct and ESPECIALLY in light of the 20% tip I left for a carryout order. Tighten up folks!!!

She had the Pulled Pork plate with friut and collards (she is weird). I had the Briskit Sandwich with beans and slaw. It all was very good and served hot and fast. Might try desert next time. The cheese bisquits were awesome.

Great service.. great food.. we got the combo x2. The turkey is better than the chicken. Both good but turkey was just juicier. Ribs had that competition "bite-pull". Brisket was soft and flavorful. Arnold Palmer was perfect. We had a great lunch-date experience. Cheese biscuits were great. Definitely got an extra basket to go.

Then managers and staff that work at this location are amazing. The food was hot and fresh for togo. Vanessa was our cashier.
