Jewel Box Cafe

Thumbs down! This place looks amazing. But looks are deceiving. I’m sure this place has tasty crepes and delicious coffee. But sadly my wife and I didn’t get the chance to find out for ourselves. We walked out after about five minutes of standing at the counter without and recognition or greeting. The barista , the cook and the counter attendant all looked right at us( I am 6ft 4in tall and 300lbs) I rarely go unnoticed .but no one gave us the time of day. So I say good day and boo to you jewels box of disappointment and poor customer service!! And no it was not busy

My husband and I stood at the counter for 5 minutes. 3 staff members looked at us and continued doing what they were doing. Not one of them acknowledged us. We turned around and walked out. Takes 2 seconds to say hello and we will be with you in a minute. Unfortunately didn’t try the food or coffee.

I got a strawberry banana smoothie with peanut butter. It tasted so bland, there was hardly any flavor. It tasted mostly like slightly flavored ice. Pretty disappointing for almost a $10 smoothie. The service was quick though, and they seem nice enough.

We always love coming here. It's such a cute little Cafe to stop by and relax in. The employees are always super nice. The crepes are always delicious, and the service is always super quick. We make it a point to stop by every time we go to Point Ruston!
