Javi's Taco Shack (formerly El Mejor Taqueria) first opened its doors in downtown Visalia in the Fall of 2008. It began with the promise of using the finest ingredients and the most exceptional service. Javi's Taco Shack expanded in December of 2011 adding a bakery featuring freshly baked Mexican pastries, breakfast menu, coffee and fresh fruit, all in a comfortable environment and official becoming one of the most popular restaurants in downtown Visalia, famous for its weekly specials, express menu and late night dining experience. It is sought after by both locals and residents from surrounding cities. We are happy to announce our new location on South Mooney Blvd.
