Came for the teriyaki but the sushi was even better. You can see how particular he is about his craft and it makes all the difference. Will be back

Loved the vibes of the guy at the counter, he was incredibly friendly and eager to please with his craft! The same person who took my order also made my sushi, and served my order out... Which felt pretty special! I can tell he takes pride in what he does. *: I visited again, and was granted a hot cup of miso on a cold day!! What a gentleman.

We really enjoyed our teriyaki and katsu here. The owner was attentive and kind. A nice place to go for a quiet homemade meal.

We enjoyed our dinner here very much. It was a quiet weekday evening. The owner was kind and made delicious sushi. We had our 10 month old with us, and he made her a miso porridge that was a perfect little meal for her. Thank you, again!

This place is hot - literally. No AC on one of the hottest days of the year? Really? When we were seated no sushi menu was presented, and we didn't get a chance to look at one until 10 minutes later when the only employee working came to take our order. Soda is $3.00 for a 16.9 oz plastic bottle and a cup with a few shards of ice, no refills. The yakisoba had almost no flavor and the sushi was rolled so loosely it came apart when trying to dip it into the soy sauce. The "salad" that came with my wife's meal was just iceberg lettuce with too much dressing. Overall we were very disappointed in our meal here.

Came in around 3:30 on a weekday. There was only one person working but service was still pretty quick. The food was fabulous. Our table got teriyaki, the house sushi roll and fried rice and all were awesome. Even my super picky seven year old was raving about the fried rice. Definitely coming back.

I just moved into the city last year and literally went to all asian restaurants in town. And felt this place is the best sushi and Japanese dishes in town.

No frills, great food, low key, definite yes. - Chicken and katsu combo - Tempura vegetable combo - Yummy roll - Egg rolls All the food was amazing. Super chill relaxed atmosphere. Chicken cooked perfectly, roll was good, tempura was especially crunchy. 10/10 would come again
