Cute, affordable, old school breakfast spot that I appreciated amongst the hustle and bustle

We live around the corner from Jack’s Place. We moved to Old Town Alexandria this past August and have been looking for neighborhood places to eat. We just stumbled upon this cool diner this past Sunday. It’s the PERFECT neighborhood eatery! I got the Bulgogi Sub, and my girlfriend got the western omelet. The ingredients were so ridiculously fresh. The lettuce in my bulgogi sub actually snapped with each bite. The staff was very attentive and incredibly polite. It’s the cleanest diner I have ever seen. It’s on the smaller side, but to us that made it more cozy and endearing. We plan on getting dinner here tonight as well. They have a Hibachi menu that’s only available during the weekends 5 - 8:30 that looks soooo good. Glad we have our new neighborhood spot in Old Town! UPDATE: We just had the Hibachi Triple Play dinner meal. It was SOOO GOOOD we ate it all before we thought to take a picture. Their food is SOOO delicious we can’t recommend this great restaurant enough. We will keep coming back!

We read good reviews and planned to stop for breakfast. The host was very friendly and the food was delicious and fresh. Freshly squeezed OJ was very refreshing! Vegetarian options: We did not try this option.

We happened upon this little place for breakfast and we are so happy we did! Service was excellent as was the food! All our dishes were freshly prepared and delicious. The owners are lovely and kind. Highly recommend!!!

Great little place started by a man named Jack that no belongs to a nice Mongolian family who serve great breakfasts and lunches but have also expanded into Mongolian Barbeque on some evenings. I have eaten breakfast there several times in the past few months and plan to return. Their food is wholesome - I particularly like their fresh squeezed orange juice. Not easy to find that on a menu in today's prefab world.
