Quintessential. The entire Engineering study period of mine in Jadavpur University between early 1980s was thoroughly enjoyed almost every alternate day with my future soulmate( she studied in the then Presidency College). Coffee was excellent and Chicken Sandwich was just wow!
After University completion went abroad for livelihood as Jyoti Basu & Company had already ruined Kolkata and West Bengal job market by then. Once during my India visit, We both visited there to revive the 1980s charm. Things have changed now a lot. But the feeling was old is gold.
