After 26 years in the Navy, the Cleveland native retired in Hawai'i with his family and decided that his love for cooking expanded beyond his career in the military. What started as an in-home catering business quickly blossomed into a thriving company. Ken Hughley, owner and chef, was inspired by his grandmother. With her ties to Arkansas, the two shared many precious memories in the kitchen. He was taught everything he knows by her! To honor his mother and grandmother, the restaurant was originally named "Ken Nae's" but later was switched over to Hughley's (which is pronounced "Hue-glee"). You can experience flavor with soul here, or at one of our two food trucks! ALOHA!!
