Hub Boba

The taste here is quite good. The pricing isn't. In U-district, great drinks are $6-8 with toppings and adjustments, and can get even lower w/ discounts. The cheapest drink you can get in Bellevue Square is under $6. A classic here STARTS at $7.50. If I wanted similar adjustments to what I'd normally get, I'd be charged nearly $10 for a single drink, and that's excluding tip. I'm no business owner, and I know MI is expensive, but these prices are something else. There's no boba in Bellevue Square that charges this much, and there's almost no other place that charges anything, much less almost a dollar just to use fewer ice cubes. With these prices, fleecing customers with ice charges is borderline criminal. The lower volume of customers may justify the starting price, but charging $0.75 to get less ice and $1.50 for no ice is insane. I really enjoyed my drink, definitely worth trying at least once, but I'd rather look at getting food at these prices.

This place is great, although the ice cream place has move on but I'm so glad the bubble tea stays. They are one of the best in the eastside and we drink a lot of bubble tea. Their staff are extremely friendly and help...they make us feel good to be there. They rock. Kid-friendliness: Bubble tea is my son's favorite. We been to almost all store in the Eastside and he likes only 2- don't yell at me in Kirkland and Hub Boba here. The right amount of sugar and soft Boba. The staffs are extremely friendly and helpful.

it’s a wonderful place, i love their tea, i go there frequently and i’ve brought many friends and they all love it. 100% would recommend. Kid-friendliness: there’s an ice cream place attached as well, and i see plenty of kids there.

Hub Boba is a new place on Mercer Island in the same place as the former Baskin Robin's and shares a place with an ice cream treat shop in the same building. The boba was a bit pricy, but it was good and tasted great. I got the peach iced tea with 50% sweetness and brown sugar boba and was not disappointed. Not anything fancy but a nice place with good boba and iced tea!

My experience: - 15 minute wait on 2 drinks with one person in front of me. - After the 15 minutes, I was informed boba ran out and I could wait 15 minutes for more boba. - Drinks of 5/10, take it or leave it. - Sweetness is underestimated, go for way less.

The staff are soooo nice and clearly work very hard. Drinks=amazing
