First time. Things were clean and comfortable. Muffins were small and over baked. Refrigerated. Flavor of the strawberry cream cheese muffin was really good. The waffle was dense and sweet. It made my stomach hurt. The food was served on paper plates. I would like more environmentally friendly service so that we’re not throwing away so many cups and plates. The outside and inside didn’t exactly match. Lots of potential. very family friendly. At almost noon people were sitting around having a comfortable brunch when we were there. Kid-friendliness: The kids there were enjoying their menu options. Families could either sit at tables or in couch and chair option areas. Wheelchair accessibility: Single floor
It was my first time here. It took 20 minutes for my hot Latte. I ordered a Decaf, Pot of Gold Latte with Oat Milk. I'm not sure what it was, but it had no taste or flavoring. They were extremely busy, and I didn't bother to have them correct this.
How can you beat $15 per person for an all you can eat buffet today at the cute local coffee shop in Howland Center. Amazing food, and delicious coffee assortments! Highly recommend stoping in!
TL;DR: It took 10 minutes to get a cappuccino because there were only (seemingly?) two people working. It's a bunch of little things about this place that annoy me. I really really want to like it. The interior is cute, and its very close to my house. I like coffee. Their breakfast tastes good. Staff is always friendly. Prices are a tad bit high (+$1.05 for oat milk? cmon man...) But dear lord, the service is SLOW. And its not the employee's fault. Every time I've went, they're running a skeleton crew. Multiple times there's one person taking orders, making a queue of 5 customer's drinks, and grabbing people's food out of the back. Espresso machines are fiddly, and thats fine. I don't mind waiting a few minutes - but today it was over 10. While waiting, a customer came in, stood around for 30 seconds, saw that no one was in the front to take an order, looked at the line of 4 people waiting on their food/drinks, and then she walked out the door. A missed sale. Other days, I've waited >20 minutes for two waffle meals. They've changed their hours to be only open 4 days a week. Management desperately needs to hire more people. And the little payment kiosk always has the audacity to ask for a tip...
DELICIOUS coffee! Wide variety of yummy sugar-free flavors as well.
43 minutes to make a chicken salad sandwich and bacon/ egg biscuit with two orders in front of me and zero food orders in between. WOW very disappointed in the service BUT the chicken salad was delicious and their coffee is really good too. Maybe I just caught them on a lazy Friday afternoon, but I must reflect the experience I received in my reviews. I also felt bummed that you must order and pay for your meal ahead of time and pay at a register, so was eating in so I tipped well… won’t make that mistake again for I received very lousy service. I bet this place is great for some folks but you may just have to catch the staff on a good day. I would just stick to ordering their coffee… it’s fantastic.
A hidden gem, wonderful customer service and wonderful coffee and food! The only downside is that we wish you were also open on Sundays. Keep up the great work!
