We having lunch here with my 2 daughters , only 2 waitress there . Place is small , casual atmosphere. Not much excited about the menu . Food is so so ! Salad is old !
Went here for brunch with my wife during some free time and these are some of my takesfrom eating here I got the brisket and the cheddar skillet which consisted of like 90% potatoes and barely any brisket. While none of the food was exceptionally bad I swear they didn’t even season it with salt let alone anything else the whole meal was just painfully bland. My wife got the farmers skillet and the same could be said for her meal as well no seasoning and for some reason like all potatoes For service the food didn’t take long at all to come out everything was clean and our waitress was nice and attentive honestly nothing bad to say about the service here pretty standard and pretty good also I read some other reviews but we didn’t experience any long wait times they sat us within 5 min Similar thing to say for the atmosphere it’s a cute small local restaurant it’s pretty comfortable and everything is clean and nice Everything in this restaurant is pretty standard and good the only real complaint is the food it’s edible but it’s so bland that’s it’s difficult to get through and it’s hard to give any more stars for it when they skimp on on the main parts of the dish and just leave you eating undercooked and unsalted potatoes
Need more food with that prices
I decided to try House in Media on this sunny Thursday around 12:30pm. Super cute, small but cozy place with a homie vibe. 2 parties of 2 were checked in before me and the wait was approximately 20 minutes, so I opted to place a to-go order. I ordered the: Brisket & Cheddar Skillet - Potato, Slow Braised Beef Brisket, Green Onion, Salsa Verde, Aged White Cheddar and Fried Eggs. Once I opened the container in my car, I immediately noticed over easy eggs, not fried. There were no green onions in the dish. The potatos were undercooked and very firm. The brisket was tender but not super flavorful and the salsa verde didn't do much along the lines of lifting the taste. I only ate the brisket. (1.5/5) I also ordered a half order of the House French Toast - Slowly soaked, Vanilla Bean Brioche French Toast w/real maple syrup. The French Toast did not disappoint! I definitely tasted the vanilla bean and it was a delight to eat. I just feel $7.75 is steep for half a piece of bread and $14 for the full slice...meh. (4/5) Overall, I would rate my experience a 3/5.
First time dining here. The place looked very cozy, so I already fell in love with it. I got the triple threat specialty sandwich and it was delicious! I got soup of the day and house fries as well. I loved it all. I highly recommend this place. My friends got the SBLT, half king khan + half he-man. They loved those too!
