Hot n' Spicy is a modest Laos eatery nestled on the East side of Madison, Wisconsin. Serving up a small, yet eclectic menu of Southeast Asian cuisine, focused around traditional Laos flavors. We offer true restaurant quality dishes with bold flavors, in the most humbling of settings! Our open kitchen is located inside the back area of Viet Hoa Supermarket. Our obscure location and ambiance creates a unique, yet intimate experience between our patrons and our small team, that must be experienced to conceive. Tammy Phommachanh is the head chef serving dishes that pay homage to many generations of traditional family recipes and knowledge passed down and revised, to fit the modern palate, which is now being passed to her eldest son, Sam.
