Hotel Tarun Niketan (Pice Hotel)

Highly overpriced, and highly overrated. I visited on 8th June, 2024, and will not visit this place again in my life. Basic Bengali hotels in every locality is far better than this place. You’ll be even charged for the plates, I’m giving the price of the dishes of so called 115 years old Pice hotel which I had tried, and at this price you can easily visit any good and descent restaurants in our city. Plate - Rs. 15/ piece (কলাপাতা) Only Rice - Rs.70 for 2 person Daal - 1 small bati - Rs. 40 Macher dimer bora - Rs. 30/piece, (খুব শক্ত, ঘরে এর থেকে অনেক ভালো হয়) Chicken- 2 piece chicken with alo - Rs. 180 Chingri Malaikari - 1 piece - Rs. 300 Chatni-Papad - Rs. 70

Bad smell, quality of food is poor, sits are dirty.

The food is good, not outstanding in terms of price it is not a cheap option. I took 1 serving rice, 1 plate pomfret fish and 1 plate prawn it costed me Rs. 640.

The food is excellent. But considering the ambience it is quite pricey. Just don't go with the expectation that it is a pice hotel.
