HopScotch & Vine

I brought a large group in for lunch on Friday, and we had a great experience! The décor is lovely, so elegant, yet so relaxed. The service was outstanding! Our server was so friendly and accommodating! We were not rushed at all. In fact, we were there for almost three hours. We took our time ordering, but when we did, I was amazed at how quickly the food arrived, and all at the same time. It was fresh, hot, and beautifully plated. We had a variety of dishes, and they were all delicious! The Billy Goat flatbread and the baked brie were each so good! I would highly recommend HopScotch and Vine! In a time where so many of our downtown Plainfield restaurants are closing, let’s support the ones that are left. The combination of fantastic food, stellar service, and a lovely atmosphere makes the restaurant definitely one to try, and then keep on the list!

My wife and I went in one Monday evening to sit down and have a date night. Ended up meeting the owners Mike and Casey I believe. I would say the atmosphere is not overstimulating. Good food, service was very good also. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for something around Plainfield.

This is a nice neighborhood establishment. We got seated right away. The staff was super sweet. Their menu had a good variety of meals to choose from and an extra extensive wine list. My bestie and I had the pot roast sandwich with sweet potato fries and bean salad. Very flavorful and perfect portion. Just delish. We also had potato skins as an appetizer. They were like wedges baked with butter and chives. Can't wait to go back and try the salmon or chicken. Our meal with a tip was about $70.00. This is a nice sit down restaurant family oriented highly recommended to try. Sorry I wish I would have taken photos.

Maybe bad timing for us. Showed up around 6:30pm and waited about 15-20 minutes before we (party of 2) decided to just try a different restaurant because we didn't have a server talk to us or bring water. It didn't seem super busy.
