I was a little disappointed. The food overall had a really strong flavor, that I can only explain as like a chemicle. It wasn't terrible, just had this inexplicable, strong flavor of something synthetic, and I was really off putting. Disappointed to the point in which I was ready to leave me meal, maybe 1/4 into it, right up until the moment I had their fried rice. I have never eaten anything like it. Rice is generally just a filler, and I've never really cared for it. I eat it often, and with everything like eggs, but it would never be a focal point of a dish. Their fried rice was literally life changing, it was perfect. Everything else was a strong meh, 2/5, but their fried rice is something special. It was unbelievable, it's perfect. Service was good, they seem like good people. I'm probably just being picky but whatver that flavor was, it permeated the entirety of the meal and I keep telling myself that they used some strong Chinese vinegar. Wife is a mainlander, we live in Tokyo and I am just back in WA visiting family. We lived in HK for years before moving to Tokyo. So though I'm not an expert, and not some credible source on HK food, I've eaten this stuff for years, and I just don't know what that flavor was, but like the rose whine flavoring, it inundated the entirety of the dish and I hated it. Like someone sprayed my food with windex. Still, rice was probably one of the most perfect things I've ever eaten, and these people deserve 5/5 just for their fried rice. I sincerly didn't know that rice could be so damn good. BBQ pork was very hard, dry and chewy; even my dogs had a problem eating it. Dim sum was actually not bad, pork bun was legit, fried pork was hard and chewey as well so I wouldn't recommend any meat if you are elderly with dental issues. They were cool though, and I'd give them a second shot just because of world class rice. Def authentic Chinese, and not western Chinese. So I'm sure this will be appealing to many.

I can only attest to the Poke and Boba side of this restaurant but both of them are so delicious and I am a bit of a regular. The milk tea boba flavors are a little too strong, you can really taste the black tea, but their coffee smoothie is DELICIOUS and they give the right about of tapioca pearls. Poke is always delicious, I love their salmon, spicy or not, and I just recently became a fan of their unagi. Price is always right for the amount of food you get. Wheelchair accessibility: The door does not have a button and the space inside would be a little tight for a wheelchair, but there are no steps and I think the viewing windows for the options is at the right height. Parking may be a little tight for a wheelchair accessible vehicle, but there are two sides of parking and one has vertical parking instead of side by side.

Tiny little whole in the wall shops too close to homeless people to want to go in. Parking was horrible

Had one of the meals with almond chicken, sweet and sour pork, rice, and noodles. Did not get the almond sauce for my chicken not that it mattered the chicken tasted terrible! Took one bite of everything and threw it in the trash where it belongs. Sucks because I ordered through Uber so it made it more expensive. Maybe I just got it on the wrong day and time but very disappointed and not sure I will be trying again.

I am a frequent customer of Poke Express. For whatever reason, Door Dash would not give me the option to order from my regular location (located on division on the Northside). No biggie, I'll order from this location. I didn't think the quality from this location would be MILES below my regular location. First off, I ordered a large poke bowl and they gave me a small. It had the wrong sauce. I ordered mango and only got three sloppily chopped, large pieces of old mango. Second, my black peach tea with lychee boba was SO incredibly oversweetened that I couldn't take more than a couple sips from it before just dumping it. Found out from a couple of my poke loving friends that this location sucks. Never again.
