At the heart of Homegirl Café is the goal to create a social enterprise that's a safe space for clients of Homeboy Industries, many of whom have experienced domestic violence and the challenges of single parenthood, to receive on-the-job training. Staff are able take advantage of Homeboy Industries’ free critical services like GED tutoring, mental health therapy, substance abuse counseling and tattoo removal.
