How was the service?... I'll let you decide. A friend and I went for a Chinese on Saturday evening (20/4/24), when we arrived and sat down at 8.50pm, there was no indication that they were in any hurry to close. Ordering chicken noodle soup (which, i have to say, was very good), aromatic duck and a couple of mains (sweet and sour chicken and crispy shredded beef), halfway through the duck, a server came to us asking how we would be paying, thinking this was a bit odd, we both said by card and continued eating. We had barely begun our main course when the server came with the card reader to take payment. Never before had I been asked to pay halfway through the meal. This all felt very rushed with all the staff donning their coats, I even asked my friend if they wanted us to turn off the lights and locked the doors on our way out. We would have liked to have stayed a bit to let our food digest and maybe order a dessert or at least a cup of tea but clearly this wasn't an option. On leaving, there wasn't even a "thank you" and/or "goodbye" Very disappointing.

Friendly and helpful staff serving fantastic traditional Chinese cuisine at affordable prices. Years later, still visiting regularly and still 5 stars from me.

Ordered a takeaway before and it’s taken 2 hours to come, ordered again thinking maybe a one off and still a two hour wait, don’t understand how every other takeaway can master Uber eats but they can’t. If you want hot food don’t order from here

I really enjoyed it, nice atmosphere and really good service. The food was excellent and came out really quick. My only gripe is the plates are a bit small so couldn't fit much of my rice on it but other than that top marks. I will definitely return when working in the area again.

Foods are amazing, will be back again

Arrived at around 1230 on 08/02/24. I sat down around the table in the far-right hand corner and placed my jacket on the banquette next to where I was sitting. To my left, there was an empty table. The middle-aged female waiter with black hair moved my Canada Goose jacket whilst preparing the empty table to my left without even informing me - which is completely unacceptable. More disgustingly, the waiter grabbed the real fur of my £1,000 jacket to move it! How much lack of sense does this waiter have, to think real fur cannot be damaged by grabbing it with force? The waiter did not even apologise. The worst customer service I have ever witnessed. Manager - teach this waiter how to handle the personal belongings of your customers or face accountability for compensating the damage of your customers' jackets.

The food was very nice, but for £27, a main dish at £15 that I expect the container to be full, egg fried Rice, Crab stick and sweetcorn Soup and Prawn crackers (not a full bag) and a pot of Sweat and Sour Sauce (a couple of tea spoons of sause in the pot) I would want more for what I paid. The staff weren't that helpful, expect the young lady who had just started working and brought out my food and the manager was being rude to her staff, the customer service could be better, they would get more customers if portions were bigger, and if it was more inviting to people, and filled the containers with food for what you pay. It's not good value for money and probably will not go here again, and it's my local Chinese, sad because the food is nice shame about the rest. The pictures are of the food when I got it and hadn't eaten any of it Parking: Looked like the cars in the car park at the front of the building were Mercedes and Audi's if they belong to the owners, they can afford these cars because of how expensive it is and the small portion sizes they are making a good profit!
