Well, if your itend is to have a beer and hang out with your friends, go for it. If your main goal is to have some good German food, don't go there. We had the Jagerschnitzel and the Nurnberg sausage. Food arrived fast but at it best, it was luke warm. The quality and taste of the food wasn't ripping me out of my chair. Have to say, the waiter was doing a good job.
Had a great time. Food, music, and Christmas Market were all wonderful.
Certain food items are slightly overcooked but I haven't had a bad dish yet! Definitely authentic!
Went for the first time Saturday night (02/03/24) prior to the Bandits game at the Arena. I came oh so close to NOT going the the game and staying for the band. This place cooks! And if anyone remembers the old Belle Star in Colden, NY will appreciate and understand what that means. The food was great, the beer cold and tasty, and the servers were on top notch. I can't wait to go back. Thanks for a great time.
Beer hall, live music, kid friendly during the day. Newest Buffalo patio section!American-German food, bar, souvenirs, Gemütlichkeit! Must stay for the weekend nighttime DJ after party! Tell them the Godfather sent you! Available for private parties, separate room available, not just German fair. Try the soup, salad, and cheese burger. OMG to die for. Wine, Seltzer, mixed drinks, specialty drinks. Open 7 days a week. Come as a stranger, leave full as a friend. #Buffalove Kid-friendliness: Special kids menu, hot dogs, chicken fingers, noodles and cheese. Kids love live music more than adults, are not afraid to dance, and because it is a loud beer hall, nobody cares how loud your kids are. Bring the whole family.
Great service from Lina and the food was an absolute banger! I’m looking forward to coming back out as soon as I visit buffalo again! Get the big beer!
As a person who lived in Germany for 10+ years I felt this was a good food experience stateside. I will definitely go back. One thing I (my kids) didn’t expect was for the pasta with cheese to be so similar to macaroni and cheese. Probably could clarify that with guests when ordering to help manage expectations? The cucumber salad and everything else was pretty authentic. There was even an accordion player entertaining folks in the beer garden. The only thing I noticed that keeps me from giving a solid 5 stars is that I watched a server eat whipped cream from his finger and didn’t even wash his hands afterwards… a bit off putting.
