Just checked online menu - They’ve upped their prices for dim sum so don’t go by what’s posted on website - sesame seed bun now 5.30$ that’s a lot for three -
This is my go to takeout dim sum restaurant. Definitely a hidden gem. There is always a lot of customers ready to purchase food. The dumplings are large and stuffed full! You gotta go try.
I like their roast pork. The deli food is average.
This place is geared toward takeout. So no ranking for the atmosphere. Food are generally great especially custard (蛋塔) , baked BBQ buns (叉燒包), turnip cake (蘿蔔糕). The exception is sticky rice (糯米雞) is huge is volume but lack stuffing. Do expect a line in the morning and sold out for top selling item by early afternoon.
If you want dim sum on the cheap, this is your place! PRO: - Great prices - Big Dim Sum CON: - Might be a bit drab inside - Just ok in taste - Take out only - Can get busy! SUMMARY: Cheap big dim sum will satisfy the craving if you aren't looking for wow.
My brother wanted to bring back BBQ pork for home. We got in line and along the way found other morsels to try. The pork was nice and moist, they didn't make the marinade too sweet and cut the pieces just right. We got a couple egg custard for dessert. It was crispy outside and a nice balance of sweet and egg. There were other items to try but we just had brunch so we will check it out for next time.
Cold. Cold. Cold. Food was not very tasty and also cold for us eating in. Took a while to get served, but busy so understandable. Not many dumpling options. Not super clean either. Won't be going back.
Love this place for dimsum to go. Really quick & reasonably price :)
