In the 50's, pharmacist Doc Young operated Hillside Drugstore. The Drugstore closed in the 70's and the building was lovingly restored by the Hillside Farmacy team, who were honored to receive a Preservation Austin Award for their efforts. In 2019 the building was designated a Texas Historical Landmark and is still proudly owned by Doc Young's family. Now serving local farm to table food.
