Hillier Garden Centre Three Legged Cross

Really great garden centre, but let down by the quality of service in the cafe/restaurant.

It’s a lovely garden centre, pricey but that’s expected. As a disabled person it’s a long way to go from disabled bays to entrance. We went to the cafe and the staff worked hard and were lovely but standing in the queue for so long was tough and it appears to run on a take the order and fulfil the order ayatem which takes quite some time. Heard many others saying same thing. Perhaps an electronic table order system would accelerate matters even if it wasn’t deliver to table. Recommend a visit but if you have mobility issues then expect a slog to get in.

Excellent garden centre but disappointed with the cafe been many times but always big hold up to be served one person taking orders on both sides and making coffee as well.which slows the whole process down .small slice of cake far to expensive .cheaper to buy a whole one in shop and cut up yourself.the till and coffee area needs speeding up.

Bought a £2000 garden furniture set, it's been out of storage 6months and the wood effect has already come off. Stainless steel parts have rusted. Says 3 years warranty, anti rust aluminium, yet there's rust? Garbage products, extortionate prices.

Lovely garden centre very helpful staff great cafe as well good place to go for a meet up with friends, weather permitting outside area which is dog friendly.

Lovely plant displays, good quality, well-kept. Shop and cafe both great. Only one slight downside is the clattering crockery when staff clear tables. Not relaxing - but pleased tables are being cleared.

A member of staff could see I was struggling with walking, with my walking stick, as the entrance was further than I thought. He asked me if I wanted a wheelchair and then kindly got one for me. It made going around the store much easier and we stopped for a lovely cake and coffee. Thank you!

Just bought a rain chain . Last one in shop and slight defect, so a loverly member of staff gave me 20% off. More than happy

Amazing restaurant staff and service - special thanks to Kian for his help via the telephone on Tuesday and to all the restaurant staff - and the manager - on Wednesday afternoon. Despite a very slight hiccup we had a lovely cream tea to celebrate a birthday. We really appreciated the service . With our thanks, Table 47.
