Hibachi Bistro

It was alright. I guess since it was the end of the night, they wanted to leave. And the food was slightly lacking. Will come back again and give them another chance.

Order was missing an item. Manager stated my ticket requested the item missing without asking for my order number. Very rude. Won't be ordering again

The Hibachi Bistro on South College has always been not great, but it was easy. However, this is the last time. Went with my girls on 13 September and decided to eat inside. Nearly all the tables were dirty, as was the floor (literally slippery with spilled sauces). Condiment area was dirty and out of white sauce. The rice in the sushi rolls was not cooked all the way thru so it was hard, and portions of meat were small on cooked items. Staff ignored requests for condiments refill (and others were waiting too but afraid to ask). With a bill of $40.00 plus tip….I’d expect at least a clean table. And before anyone says anything, I spent 23 years in the Army living off the back of a tank or eating some “interesting” chow….Folks, save your money. Go home and cook. You’ll thank yourself for saving some money and frustration. I won’t be coming back, ever.

This place used to be so delicious, now everytime I order the choose 2 protein plate the chicken is always dry and full of gristle and the steak is just fat. Disappointing this used to be one of my favorite spots. Don't recommend anymore.

Order online? Add AT LEAST 30 minutes to the expected time they give you. Every single person seems clueless.

Worse food ever spent over 70 dollar we wante to try but all the food when in the trash they do give you ok service but the food is horrible

Don’t order delivery. Me, the DoorDash driver arrived and the food hasn’t even been started yet. Manager just stood around looking dumb.

All of the food was bland and needed salt.

The food here had gotten to be horrible this use to be One of my favorite places to eat. Not anymore..... yuck

Save your money. We ordered a chicken teriyaki bowl and a steak teriyaki bowl. The steak bowl had about 8 small pieces of beef, barely covering 1/4 of the rice. The chicken portion was generous, which made the steak bowl look even more pathetic, but neither meat had ANY flavor at all, certainly nothing resembling teriyaki. They weren't particularly busy, but we still waited 20 minutes for our food. It gave us a chance to watch two of the young men behind the counter chat and laugh instead of cleaning up the tables and floors, which definitely needed it.

Wow what an exceptionally poor experience again. Staff was friendly and I love that they let you fill up on white sauce! I hate writing negative reviews but I felt absolutely inclined when I threw out half of my meal. I genuinely would like to know if they are boiling their chicken and then tossing it in the tray season-less?

I ordered the hibachi chicken with noodles about a month ago. The chicken was flavorless and bone dry. I had to pick it out and feed it to my dog. Fast forward to today and we accidentally called this place instead of hibachi to go so I thought I’d give it another shot. Well the chicken was awful again and my dog got another treat! It tastes like they boil it 45 minutes past it being done. Bone dry and flavorless. Had to take it out and couldn’t finish it. I even had the munchies! Please someone teach them to cook chicken. $16 for this was a tough look. The noodles are fire though!

This is my first and last time ordering from here. I got the 3 protein meal with steak shrimp and chicken, I asked for medium rare and I got extra well done. The shrimp had a bad fish taste to it, the chicken was fine but just dry. What concerned me the most was the shrimp I tasted awful, not to mention I only got 4 shrimp, and the veggies were fine tasted fine. Rice was ok noting special. But I will definitely not be ordering from here again and I understand why the prices are so cheap now.

Delicious - will definitely be coming back!
