HEX Coffee, Kitchen & Natural Wines

A friend and I were exploring this location since it had just opened, and we noticed that it was one of the only coffee shops in the area. When we walked into the building and tried to open the doors, the bartender put his head under the bar, which gave off some weird vibes. Not everyone is welcome here.

Nice spot to get some work done if you’re in north end. A little more expensive than I’d like but I understand considering the location.

I am a huge fan of Hex Coffee. I loved their vibe since they were in the smaller space at Camp North End. I love their larger space and that they now offer food. I love their seasonal menu - it is always fun to try something new. Their avocado toast is one of my favorites in Charlotte and the chicken sando on the menu is a MUST try. It is the perfect spot for a meeting - especially with other small businesses around at Camp.

Always have a great experience at Hex. The coffee is one of my favorites in Charlotte. The people make it even better.

Excellent service and solid chai, great place to go for meetings, dates, hangs or time in the Word with Friends

Love their breakfast and pastry options. Their iced chai latte is one of my favorites! Can’t beat the vibe and the outdoor seating.

Best Katsu sandwich & killer matcha. Anytime I go somewhere else for katsu im always left thinking hex is better

Excellent coffee and vibe. Big fan of the all-star breakfast. Add on the waffle and you won’t be disappointed. Also, might have the best patio in Charlotte. My go to for meetings on the Northside.

Very unfortunate experience, given that this roastery is the only one close to where I live now (my previous choice relocated to south charlotte). I tried two different kinds of beans (all dark roast per their claim), but both were way too acidic. Moreover, one of them ended up jamming my coffee grinder (bean was too hard, probably under-roasted), which resulted in a lot of clean up and waste. Prices are also on upper end compared to their competitors.

The coffee has a nice medium roast flavor, and I really love the store's décor and vibe.

Excellent choice of coffees and teas. I got the “coffee shot”— a full cup of coffee made on the espresso machine. Fresh, juicy, and sweet. The friendly baristas take great care to prepare everything carefully. Thanks Hex!

I was across the street two bites into a mediocre bagel and some not delicious coffee when I realized this place was next door so I walked over and got the tasty vanilla latte and the fantastic Hex special! Don’t settle for mediocrity we only get one life!
