The guys working the cafe have impressive work ethic.
The museum provides great value for the admission price.
In a space where it’s hard for parents to get to I found at least 25 books all containing this propaganda. So inappropriate for children. They discretely placed them where not all parents could fit in to get to. Not in plane site, super shady, we left after this.
This place absolutely rips. Our kids' minds were blown right out of their tiny skulls at the scope of the exhibits. I'm fairly certain that if we dropped off our children and said "You live here now" they would say "Great!"
It's a haul to Olympia but totally worth it. Great interactive exhibits for my 6 year old. Lots of outdoor activities as well. If it wasn't 60 miles away, we would be here once a month!
While stationed in Washington, I had the opportunity to take my children there on many occasions to the point where I had bought a membership and was glad I did. The location and parking itself are within reasonable distance and area. The entry point of the Museum does have a positive impression and great vibe for the children the energy and excitement awakes when the children know we are going there. It provides a wide variety of areas and education for all ages of children. The interaction, cleanness and staff go beyond the call of one's needs. The resting areas for food and beverages accommodations allows everyone to rest and enjoy the break. The cost is reasonable and the selection is good. A place to go back over and over again.
We’re from Minnesota and stumbled upon this gem thanks to Blippi. Quite impressive, I must say. The employees were incredibly pleasant, immediately inquiring about any discounts you may be eligible for. Even if you end up paying the full price, remember that it's all for a good cause - helping other children gain access.
Each section is meticulously planned out, catering to all, regardless of their ability to read.
A fantastic cafe for kids that won't break the bank. If you happen to be in the vicinity, make sure to add this to your list of must-visit spots!
Some guy was getting really hands on in the museum with some of the kids was a great show tho
