A great new neighborhood spot! The dim sum is amazing, staff is attentive, prices fair. My favorite is the pork ribs with garlic and spicy cucumber!
Great new spot in Georgetown! The staff were super accommodating & the food was incredible. Vegetarian options: Tofu or Veggie option available for most noodle dishes
We came and did the bottomless brunch on a Saturday. It is a tiny restaurant, I wish they took reservations but we got there right when they opened at 11 and had no trouble grabbing a table for 4. They were full and it was a line by like 11:10. We ordered option B, the larger menu option, and bottomless drinks. The food was SO GOOD! Favorite dishes of our group included soup dumplings, crispy eggplant, and Peking duck. We had great service and the drinks were yummy. I ate until I couldn’t fit another bite and deeply wished I had more room because I still hadn’t tried everything I wanted to—really had a ton of fun and can’t recommend it enough!
The food was bad: bland and not prepared correctly. The mapu dofu was sweet not spicy. The only thing that was good was the cucumbers you can skip the rest.
Food is plentiful and good. Not too many healthy choices though, if any. There are two options: A ( $38 per person) and B ( $48 per person). Everyone must order, can’t have one order for two people. Drinks like tea not included. The place is busy, staff’s friendly and works hard. Lunch for two people with 2 glasses of wine ~ $120, tip included.
Most Dim sum and abalone rice are canned and reheated
Tried it during their soft opening period and had an excellent meal; the crispy eggplant is superb and the Peking Duck is very good. The dim sum is ho hum. On a second visit, our reservations, confirmed a second time, were forgotten and after a long wait we were seated by the kitchen. The waitress kept interrupting our order to attempt to upsell us on other dishes, the drinks for two of our party arrived more than halfway through the meal, the tea was served lukewarm, and worst of all, the noise level was shattering - it regularly topped 80 decibels, making normal conversation impossible. Too many restaurants like a noisy atmosphere to give the place a certain energy, but one should not have to scream through the meal at one’s party. Very disappointing.
overall an enjoyable experience and one of the better places for dumplings in the city. be sure to get the sweet and spicy cucumber salad - that’s worth the trip alone. it’s definitely a small space, so some of the reviews about having uncomfortable large parties can probably be contextualized by that. we got two drinks and did the unlimited dumplings and the check was for $65 each.
Not gonna lie I had the worst dimsums at here. Everything is pre–cooked frozen foods. Waiting time was kinda long. Prices are way more higher than my expectation but comes with bad quality foods. Def not recommend to come to here.
