Great food. Quality ingredients, and from what I could tell, loving prepared and served. Kid-friendliness: Fenced off front of house area with games, and space for kids to play; perfect for a family outing. Less kid friendly inside because of the size, but if the weather is nice it’s absolutely perfect.

I don’t even like fried chicken but I love it from hambone!

This restaurant has changed owners since my last review from mothers day 2 years ago. While the atmosphere has remained the same and the picnic tables outside are still nice, and wait staff is very friendly, and the food really does taste great, it has gotten far overpriced for the amount of food you are paying for. An omlette was $14, and didn't fill up half of a small plate. Coke in a can was $2. Far less crowded than it used to be, and have to believe that's a lot of the reason. Had Mother's Day brunch here. Charming little eat spot in old Mandeville with plenty of outside seating. Menu is a bit limited, but it's a small local eatery. Had the mothers day special, along with chicken biscuits, fried boudin and more. All of the food was great- flavorful and great presentation. The one and only issue i had was that all the plates were too small for the food items on them. My biscuit came on just a 4" tin. Highly recommend stopping if you're looking for a nice leisure dining experience. This isn't the place if you're in a hurry. All the wait staff was super friendly, attentive and nice. They are DOG Friendly too!!!

One of the very best restaurants in the area. Would highly recommend! I came for lunch and all plates were truly amazing. The atmosphere is great and the attention outstanding.

Cute place. Kids can play outside. Food was really salty. Not really impressed.

The food and service are phenomenal. We love this little gem in mandeville. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because it is sooooo uncomfortably hot inside the building.....they need fans in the rooms or maybe window units. Sweating while eating wasn't fun.

Outstanding upscale Southern fare.

This is a very quaint and hidden gem in Mandeville. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The food is great and the server is very knowledgeable. Food came out hot and fast. Very flavorful we had the smoked wings , fried chicken with grits and the Steak and eggs. Wings - Amazing Flavor,loved Fried Chicken - Great , I loved the crispy skin I added a side of the grits and the grits were great very creamy and flavorful. Steak and Eggs were great not a big fan of over easy eggs and the sauce for the creamed collards was very salty but not a bad plate wish I had a bit more Steak on it.
