Hambone

Located in the heart of Old Mandeville on Girod Street, just blocks from the lakefront, sits Hambone. Take a walk through the kid friendly, fenced-in, outdoor seating area. Inside you will find some of the best southern food around. Chef Luke Hidalgo was a sous chef at Commander’s Palace for over 6 years when he met Marci, who was a server there. With other great names under their belts like Galatoire’s and Coquette, they developed delicious, approachable comfort food made from a chef’s perspective with fresh, local ingredients pulled straight from the gulf and from farms on the LA Northshore. Hopefully, the food accompanied by the warm and fuzzy service in the coziest of atmospheres will leave you dreaming of your next meal at Hambone.
