Haley's Honey Meadery FXBG

My husband and I go here a couple times a month and absolutely love it. The mead/cider is always so good and my husband raves about the apple butter grilled cheese daily. I highly recommend Haley’s.

What a wonderful Saturday afternoon to go to Haley's and enjoy time with friends. The weather was great so we got to sit outside and enjoy tasters (5 1 oz portions for $8) and flights (4 3 oz portions) of mead and cider. My wife lived the pomegranate mead while I preferred the apple cider donut cider. This place is dog friendly so after your walk downtown it's a great place to chill.

The ½ charcuterie board and ham sliders were more than enough for 2 people. They have several ciders and many meads. This will be our new go to place. We really enjoyed everything we had and the relaxed atmosphere.

This place is amazing! Becky was super knowledgeable and kind; the mead was phenomenal! We also met Mike (the owner) and were treated like true VIPs. I cannot say enough about the service we got! The currant blackberry mead is to die for. Also, celiacs rejoice - the fries are oven baked. This means you can nosh and drink!

The aesthetic is genuinely original and intriguing from the outside, but unfortunately that is the high point. The mead itself is solid. Lots of fruit flavors that taste alright, but nothing stand-out. The mixed drinks are a bit of a problem. Our bartender was very slow given the number of customers and changed recipes seemingly on a whim, but the changes were really destructive towards the taste of the drinks. The food is downright terrible. We had a couple of specials and it was clear that one of our plates had spoiled dairy and the other was also tough to stomach. The staff were somewhat apologetic, but we could hear someone shout "They didn't like the desserts!?" from the kitchen as we spoke which made us uncomfortable speaking more. Honestly there is a lot of potential here and I hope to come back as they improve, but it's just not there yet.

Didn't even get to try this restaurant because of their " managers " nasty attitude. Even called the owner and explain the circumstances during the parade came back to eat and was still greeted with aggressive body language glaring eyes and no words as I asked for the menu. She walked straight into the kitchen and I walked straight out! I don't know how she's a manager with that kind of unprofessional demeanor. I even returned after she has her party of 30 taken care.. just poor customer service all around. The owner was understanding but she wasn't there so unfortunately I will not be back. God bless.

I really enjoyed Haley'a Honey Meadery, definitely a great experience. The drinks were amazing, and so was every food item I ordered. The service was excellent, and the staff was friendly. They made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. We went for my husband's birthday and I thank them for making he's birthday lunch a memorable one.
