I stopped in the other day to grab a large salsa to go. It was 6.99 and a bargain for the size. And if you are a fan, you know it's worth the drive just to pick some up. The girls at the takeout window were friendly and helpful.
The food was horrible, I'll never return!
I have only sent food back three times in my life. Sadly, two of these times have now been at Hacienda. I went in tonight and ordered a small white cheese sauce and the Quesabirria tacos. The small cheese sauce I ordered came out as the large order, had refried beans at the bottom, and was room temp-leaning towards cold. The meal was.. horrible. Quesabirria Is supposed to be crispy, these tortillas were rubbery. Again the food was room temp. The meat was pretty gross, but the real kicker was the Birria sauce that it was served with. It hovered somewhere between “chef-boy-R-D” slop and canned dog food. The service there is always anxiety-inducing, and the overall vibes are pretty rancid. If you sit in the bar area they all shout about how much they don’t want to be there, and are pretty abrupt with you no matter how nice and quiet you are. If you sit in the main dining area you subject yourself to screaming children that are always, always there eating with their families. Overall, it’s a no from me dawg. Especially when there are so many other great Mexican options in the area.
This was the worst experience I have had at any Hacienda, and normally, things are great. They were busy, but the service was extremely slow. My food came out before my drink, and it wasn't prepared properly. My tortilla was sitting in a pool of butter and not toasted at all. I had to eat my quesadilla with a fork because it fell apart if you tried to pick it up.
