Went to gusto for my daughters birthday and absolutely loved it, atmosphere was incredible, we got a seat right beside the kitchen so we could see them cook. Cihara was amazing, so polite and kind, sang happy birthday in Italian and taught us some as well! I ordered the margarita pizza with anchovies which was absolutely delicious, it came quickly and was so nice, the rest of my family loved their food aswell. My daughter made her own pizza which was very good and we loved it so much we just had to try the desserts my son got the sticky toffee pudding which he loved, my daughter got a chocolate brownie and it even came with a candle on top! I got the bombilini which I had never tried before so I was very excited! And it was delicious! Afterwards We told cihara about our trip to Italy and she told us the best places to go in Italy. Overall the experience was amazing and I would definitely recommend. Parking: Lots of parking spaces Kid-friendliness: Everyone was extremely child friendly, the kids menu has activities to keep them entertained, would recommend to come with kids or adults
The staff are brilliant. We were made especially welcome by Oli who has time to make the occasion special and Sophie who managed our table was super efficient and a delight. The food is pretty good too.
We have today dined at Gusto Cookridge and as always have enjoyed it immensely. Having met for the first time the new manager, Oli, we are certain this restaurant is in safe and capable hands. He is professional, friendly and efficient and an absolute asset to the restaurant and company as a whole. Even though there were only a few diners this lunchtime, I have given the atmosphere a 5 star too. There is nothing to dislike in any way. Thank you Oli for treating Mike and I so well. It won’t be long until our next visit.
Pleasant atmosphere and service, all food was presented lovely and warm. We all enjoyed our meals , only small issue was a piece of my RIb eye was tough, but overall an excellent evening.
Brilliant, evening with fabulous wine and gorgeous food
Have eaten at a number of Gusto restaurants. Cookridge was excellent, nice ambience and decor surprised by its size and layout as it looks quite a small frontage. Given it was Good Friday it wasn't as busy as expected so the atmosphere wasn't buzzing. Food excellent and very good, friendly service We really enjoyed the experience
Booked last night for my dads birthday the food took a long time to come out and was cold no one came to our table of 12 to see if anyone wanted a drink we'd been there an hour and a half at this point they forgot my sons meal and it took 20 minutes for a waitress to come to our table after telling them we are missing a meal everyone had finished by the time they brought his! (that was free) (dried up chicken breast) the rest of the food wasn't nice at all piccolinos, bibis or aldos are far better service and food, definitely won't be going back they did give us a round of drinks and took the puddings off the bill but for large parties i wouldn't bother.
Excellent service from Oliver - professional , welcoming, would definitely make another visit. Parking: Opposite restaurant
