Established in 1984. Walk into a Gus's and you'll find tattered walls adorned with vintage and local art, beloved soulful classics being played in the background, tables covered in checkerboard, and plates full of what is arguably the best fried chicken in the world. Our chicken, prepared using a recipe developed over 60 years ago by the Bonner family, offers the perfect combination of crispy skin and juicy and tender meat, all while holding just enough spice to let you know it is there. All plates are served with beans and coleslaw, but feel free to substitute with any of the other freshly prepared in-house sides.
