Gunny's Tavern

So lovely! The wait staff was so friendly and helpful. The fish was great and the fries and cheese on the poutine was great. Though, I think next time I might order it with extra gravy for personal preference. I asked them to make a mocktail for me and it was so good! The only thing I see room for improvement is, I hope they someday can move into a larger location. But the atmosphere for what space they do have, was well done.

Wow some may think hole in the wall I think the restaurant was an oasis in a sea of corporate mediocrity. Great burgers and fries were great and plentiful. Had a nice selection of top shelf bourbon. I will definitely be back.

Traveling for work from NC, my fiancé and I stopped in to try a local restaurant. Blew our expectations out of the water! Hoping for more work trips so I can turn them into Gunny’s trips

Date night! I ordered the meatloaf and it was delicious! Hubby got a hamburger! He loved it, too! The beer selection is good and can change. The cider selection was small but good. We spoke with the owner, and he recommended dishes and beers. He told us the recipes were family recipes. The server was really nice and attentive, with recommendations and chatting. Will definitely go back! I highly recommend!

This is a great place to go you won't be disappointed the food is cooked by a genuine chef had some chicken dip with chips awesome you really should try it and they have many different flavors of beers if you're personally I'm going to try to eat everything there at one point to check it out I sat at the bar this time but there are tables

Get the fried pickles, they're fantastic

I had no idea about Gunny’s, but I’m so glad we found them. I feel like it is one of those ‘hole in the wall’ gems. The environment is very cozy and is a lot like a good ole’ sports bar. When we arrived, it was packed! They offer many local brews that we thoroughly enjoyed. We loved the mango habanero fritters. I have never had anything like it! Can’t wait to bring more friends here.
