Food staff and accommodation where all first class, could fault any of it. Will definitely be returning again for another stay Thanks to all the staff Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, staff couldn’t have been more obliging

I recently had lunch here, food was fantastic. Perfectly cooked, lovely and hot. Dessert was excellent very beautifully presented Drinks were great. All the team were very helpful with everything. Will definitely be returning in the near future Parking: Nice big car park. Plenty of spaces Kid-friendliness: Nice little park out the back for the kids to play on.

Late afternoon drive out pulled in at Grouse & Claret , quite due to time of day , food was spot on for both of us , staff attentive, will call in again.

We were coming back from our walk and decided to stop over for lunch. The place from the outside looks very nice and the decor is also very welcoming, but that's about it. I ordered a sea bass, my wife had Sunday Roast, and my daughter had a cheeseburger. Nothing was good about the food. The sea bass which I had was very small and burned to bits, the food came in 1 hour after we placed the order, when it came it had the sauce splattered everywhere (you will see it in the picture), the vegetables weren't green just sort of green you could tell they weren't fresh. The only good thing about the visit was Michelle who took care of us. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Response to Manager - If I had complaint about the food it would have meant to wait even longer, I was too hungry and too tired to wait another hour for my food.

The campsite was basic but just what we wanted and needed. Facilities were clean and had everything needed. It was great being able to stay to close to a great pub with amazing food and friendly helpful staff.

This charming country pub boasts a beautifully designed interior, maintains an impeccable standard of cleanliness, and provides ample parking along with a delightful playground for children. The service here is commendable as well. However, that sums up the positives. During our visit, despite the pub being only about 40% full, we were informed of a 45-minute wait for food, which was unexpected. I opted for the Sunday roast, which unfortunately was rather bland; the beef was both poor quality and overcooked. The vegetables did not live up to their menu description either, lacking the promised honey glaze and being altogether tasteless. On a brighter note, the drinks were excellent. This establishment has the potential to be a fantastic venue, but it would greatly benefit from some serious culinary enhancements by the chef. Went to the Grouse and Claret for a birthday celebration. What a lovely place, despite the short notice they managed to fit us in. Food was so good and despite being unfortunately short staffed the customer service was amazing, especially Sam W and Josh who was on his first day and coped brilliantly, Thanks so much for a lovely evening
