Groundswell Cafe

Our simple healthy menu features delicious soups, salads, sandwiches, and omelets made from fresh local and organic ingredients. We also serve a selection of fair trade coffee and teas. The Groundswell Cafe is a pay-it-forward eatery. Guests can round up their bill or make a donation to help pay for a meal for someone who can’t afford it. Those who can’t afford to pay can order and enjoy our super-fresh, healthy food at no cost. The cafe space is available to rent on evenings and weekends. It's an ideal venue for a variety of events, including community group meetings, corporate events and training, holiday parties, concerts, recitals, and more. The Groundswell Cafe is an initiative of Cedar Rapids nonprofit organization Matthew 25.
