2 items plus side of bihon. Great for late lunch.
I’m sorry but this place is very mid, pricey and slow. $16 for a two entree combo? 😑
Wow! I wish I had a grill city nearby because this spot was delicious. The fish, rice… kebabs. Perfection :) want to go back to try more
I placed an order yesterday early afternoon and it was confirmed for delivery today between 11:30 -12:00 for our Company End of Month Lunch ( Not a small order ). I tried to call at least 15 times this morning to confirm they were going to be on time and as stated in other post - NO ANSWER. They do not answer their phone. Well 12:00 came and went and no delivery. So at 12:15 I drove to Grill City to find out where it was and there it sits with no one planning on making the delivery. By the time we actually sat down to eat lunch the only thing that was warm was the pancit. The Pork & Chicken Kabobs ( all 24 ) were cold.
Needless to say " SO Disappointed with service and the food, who wouldn't be?
What do you think the chances of them removing the delivery fee and tip from my order are?
The worst $214.00 ever spent on a lunch!
I ordered 3 pcs chicken inasal online and got something that looked like boiled chicken bbq and tasted like sweet and sour. I called all day but no one was answering the phone. This in not the first time they screwed up my order but they don't entertain complaints.
The Philipino BBQ food is delicious. Great stuff. Reasonable prices.
The food is true to the original way Filipino food is cooked in the Philippines.
The food is good but it's like everytime I order, they don't understand me and I have to REPEAT what I am saying even though I am speaking in plain, LOUD ENOUGH English! Even my Tagalog (and I speak it fluently), they cannot understand me.
I spoke with the "Manager" and even though he apologized, he didn't he do much to make up for the bad customer service.
On top of that, I was slightly overcharged for one of the three meals I got for me and my parents. Maybe I can make the extra mile trip to Pinoy Pam's or just go to Jollibee or even cook my own filipino food at home, but it's always the time, the effort and clean up that bugs me (and it would smell in our house), but I try and sacrifice bad customer service because I like the food.
The food here is marvelous 😋
I got a halo halo i was spoiled the fruit or either the condensed milk but i was bad experience because my kids love halo halo 😞😞😞🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢
Love the food! Don’t like the service.
First time I came. I came with a friend. We ordered chicken bbq sticks and pancit for our family. We only speak English but only understand Tagalog. When we were ordering food they tried to talk to us in Tagalog but we didn’t understand them and talk back in English. The server started to give us some attitude when giving us our food. We would like to order more but with that kind of attitude and service there wasn’t any point.
After that experience, I called my parents and told them how bad my experience was. I get better service at HMart or 99 ranch food market than here. It’s sad because I’m Filipino. It really made me feel uncomfortable and mistreated.
Too expensive for $3.99 plus tax. Poor taste, the banana is not even ripe. It's not worth it for the price . I will not buy it anymore.
Grilled foods better than fried and still delicious and juicy.
I stop by here every time I fly into Santa Ana Airport. The food is good. There is a full grocery store, Jollibee, Grill City, street food kiosk and a couple bakeries inside the building. There is something for everyone here.
Awful. I went in for brunch Saturday intending to get the specials that's not usually available during the week. First stop was the Cebuchon (roasted pork belly). Since it's usually a specialty, the cost is $17.99 per pound. Next stop was the hot buffet counter and got an order of pancit bihon. Started looking for a table, did I mention it's Saturday? The place was busy and tables are scarce, seems you also have to compete for them with their employees possibly on break since they were organizing their "paluwagan." With their manager as the ring leader! I'm not sure if they know pyramid games are illegal both in the US and the Philippines.
Anyway, got my table. My excitement went down the drain right after I tried biting into the "crispy" pork skin, it was hard and awful. The meat was dry and tasteless. The bihon was a little more appetizing with all the toppings trying to make up for the dry and stale noodles.
The service was less to be desired also. It was in a very glacial phase. Some of the employees I encountered seems to be thinking that they are doing you a favor of serving you. And another thing, why do employees here hang in the bathroom? Are they hiding from doing work? Sitting on the throne texting doesn't make you employee of the month!
Definitely not worth it. I could have gotten roasted pork at a Vietnamese deli, and would have cost less. Not to mention more edible.
Total damage for the two items, $22.60 not including the aggravation from the employees. Total waste of $20!
Bought foods here 2 or 3X on different occasions, taste is not good, waste of money, replace the cook.
