Great Harvest Bread Company

Order King Cake that should be a ring cake like donut shape with 3 color frosting sugar. They made it like a loaf of bread and two colors. That is not traditional king cake how we celebrate our religious holiday before Ash Weds.

Placed an order for a blueberry pie, I picked it up Christmas Eve to take to dinner with family. The pie looked good, It was the worst pie that we had ever eaten. Topping was VERY dry and had no taste whatsoever. I can’t even begin to describe the “ blueberry filling. Absolutely no moisture at all, it was like a thick paste and had little flavor. No one wanted to eat it. Spent $19 for garbage. A pie from Giant Foods would have been better. I bake and I have no idea what they did to make such a dry, tasteless pie.

I’ve shopped from here a few times and been satisfied for the most part, but they had a too good to go deal online, advertising for $18 worth of goods for $6. The young lady gave me a $5 loaf (which I wouldn’t have chosen) and a $3 scone. I understand you don’t get to choose what you get, but the value of goods should be what is advertised. So needless to say, I was pretty disappointed. Moving forward, I hope that this company/management trains their employees to honor all online deals that they advertise.

Nothing said they were going to be closed today, 11/25, except the closed sign on the door.

It's a tiny place, but they pack a punch. Really enjoyed my experience here. We just got the potato and chive bread (highly recommend) it has jalapeño in it as well. We also got the sour dough and I was pleasantly surprised that it had a good solid flavor.

Fresh bread, great service and people! Updated review I posted 4 years ago. I just got their chicken noodle soup for the first time ever and it was soooo amazing. I could eat this for lunch everyday. Wish I had a little more of the soup, but everything was portioned perfectly!

Fresh milled bread is the BEST!
