Grand Canyon IMAX Theater

A giant six-story IMAX movie screen and over 12,000 watts of digital surround sound allows visitors to literally experience the Grand Canyon, throughout time, as if they were actually there. The IMAX Theater has been fully renovated. The Grand Canyon IMAX® Theatre now features IMAX® with Laser technology – a next generation laser projection system and 12-channel sound system exclusive to IMAX® theatres. A brand new film called Grand Canyon: Rivers of Time plays hourly on the half hour daily. Tours, Food and Beverage and Retail are also open at the Grand Canyon Visitor Center, Tusayan.
